The Holistic Network was created by Jaynie Ralph in 2006
Originally her idea was to form a community networking group for therapists. This quickly grew to include anyone interested in the world of mind, body and spirit to meet fortnightly in Brighton to listen to a talk, chat and enjoy a cup of herbal tea. Jaynie wanted to create a meeting place for the modern day seeker. Speakers included experts in Flower Essences, Holistic Song Therapy, Healing, Tantra and many more. The Holistic Network then expanded to include Saturday workshops in Hove when speakers were invited from as far a field as Findhorn in Scotland to share their specialised knowledge.
In 2007 Jaynie asked local therapist and workshop leader, Milly Hartley to co-host a weekly radio show on Radio Reverb 97.6 FM and The Holistic Network radio show with Milly & Jaynie was born. During the first 9 months Milly and Jaynie invited many of Brighton’s local practitioners to share their wisdom on Life Coaching, Emotional Freedom Technique, Yoga, Massage, Acupuncture etc. Jaynie also interviewed many internationally renowned authors including the Barefoot Doctor, Patrick Holford, Michael Neil, Lynda Field and Nick Williams.
The Holistic Network website was designed and written by Jaynie in 2007 and continues to be a directory for local practitioners.
Jaynie’s passion for personal development started years ago and has become a life long commitment. She’s taken part in many well respected workshops and courses, attended numerous seminars, met international workshop leaders, and experienced nearly every kind of therapy. She’s also worked in an organic shop in Sussex, facilitated workshops at The Mind, Body, Spirit exhibition in London and written for the national wellbeing magazine Healthy & Organic Living. She was Organic Beauty Editor for Wave Magazine and Health writer for Latest 7 Magazine in Brighton.
Jaynie Ralph is now a Style & Career Coach and a regular guest on well-being shows on Radio Reverb and Coastway radio in Brighton.
